How To Take A Screenshot

HOLD down the SHARE Button on your PS4 Controller until the SHARE Menu appears then select Save Screenshot.

How To Take A Screenshot Of A Application Launch Screen

If a Launch Screen Image exists during the time when the video game or software application launches, wait until the system Home Screen Theme background music stops playing and then wait 5 seconds and HOLD down on the SHARE Button until the SHARE Menu appears, then select Save Screenshot. Screenshot will be the first screenshot in the application folder in the Capture Gallery. If you timed it correctly, you can take the launch screen of YouTube's red background and white logo on launch, PlayStation Music Featuring Spotify's blurry dance scene background on launch and more.

How To Take A Screenshot Of A XMB Screen

If a XMB Screen Image exists in the background Application Overview Page on the system Home Screen, select the Communities (if it has any), then select View All Communities or Addons (if it has any), then select More. Once here, exit the next Page and the XMB Screen Image will appear before the loading icons, SQUARE TRIANGLE CIRCLE CROSS, appear. Quickly screenshot the image within 3 seconds or less. Screenshot will be the first screenshot in the system folder Other in the Capture Gallery.
